Elder Jerome Lee “Jerry” Benson

One of the pillars who helped build this church, and who always showed us what it meant to be Christlike.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Elder Jerome Lee “Jerry” Benson.

Jerry was a beloved husband to Sharon, father to Joel, father-in-love to Beth, and grandfather to Jordan, Joshua, and Katrina. He was a Light of Truth elder and patriarch — one of the pillars that helped build our church, and he always showed us all what it meant to be Christlike.

We sorrow at his passing, but rejoice in knowing that we will be reunited again, never to part again, in heaven for all eternity.
