What we believe

Jesus name, one God, faith believing

We believe and follow the Holy Bible, the 1611 King James Version, and we practice the plan of salvation given to us in the second chapter of Acts.

One God, and His name is Jesus

Deuteronomy 6:4

We believe there is only one God, the creator of heaven and earth and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father in creation, as the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost — the indwelling Spirit in the church today.

Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ

Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-6, Colossians 2:11-14

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:4

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, just as it was given on the day of Pentecost.

The seventh-day Sabbath

Genesis 2:2-3, Mark 2:27

We observe the seventh-day Sabbath, as God set it apart at creation, reinforced under the written law, and fulfilled in and through the grace given to us today through Jesus Christ.

The Word of God, the 1611 KJV

2 Timothy 3:16

We believe and follow the Holy Bible. Our preaching, teaching, and practice come from the King James Version.

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:19-20

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion.

The plan of salvation

Acts 2:36-39

Acts is the acts of the Holy Ghost through the Apostles. This is what Peter told the crowd on the day of Pentecost, and it is what we still preach.

  1. 36

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

  2. 37

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

  3. 38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  4. 39

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Baptism

Buried with Him, raised with Him

We baptize by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ — and we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

If you would like to be baptized, or you have questions about any of this, tell us. There is no wrong question to ask.
